Fantastic brunch with creative and tasty selections. The bacon cinnamon roll is a must! Excellent recommendations by our server after asking me a couple of questions. Wish they offered more than 1 dessert option with brunch, as they have a nice dessert menu at dinner. But then again, you have no excuse to skip the cinnamon roll.

eritage Tavern – 4.5/5
I came in with high expectations, and for the most part Heritage delivered. Service was impeccable from start to finish. I started with the deviled eggs three ways—two were creative and memorable, one was forgettable, but overall a fun opener.
The peppercorn steak was the star. Perfectly cooked, with layers of flavors and textures that made every bite interesting. Paired it with a Merlot, after starting with a Hefeweizen, and both matched well with the flow of the meal.
The ambience inside is truly great—small, warm, and full of unique antique touches that give the restaurant real character. It feels special without being overdone.
This is a 4.5/5 experience, but since I came in expecting excellence, I’ll call it a 4/5 here. Either way, it’s an easy recommendation if you want refined food, great service, and an atmosphere that adds to the whole experience.

I went here for the first time for a birthday dinner and was honestly stunned at how great the food was. The menu leaves your tastebuds watering with their perfect descriptions of their options. Our table ordered the deviled eggs as an appetizer and it was a hit! I have never had such fancy deviled eggs before. Visually impeccable 👌 The entrees were also amazing. The special that evening was Red Snapper (meant for two) and was also a hit! Service was fast and friendly. Such a unique cozy atmosphere. Hands down would recommend if you are looking for a special night out!

We went Friday, the last day of Winter Restaurant week. The food amazing, the service was great. Shout out to Lilly our server. And a all around great vibe. We had a vegan in our group, and the chef was able to adjust the vegetarian meal with no problem.

Rachel was an absolute joy for my husband and I for brunch today. After a really rough week for us both, service is what really comes front and center for us in an experience, and Rachel didn’t disappoint whatsoever.
The food was absolutely perfect as well, along with the drinks. First time here, and definitely not the last.

Had a great dinner on a Saturday night. Dined at a late seating and staff was very friendly and welcoming. Dishes were great, the deviled eggs were a great starter for our table and the entrees were big portions with a lot going on (on a good way). The farm to table and seasonal ingredients really accompanied the main proteins. I had schnitzel which was great. Others had the massive ribeye for 2 and boullabaisse and everyone enjoyed their meals.
Would done here again next time we visit Madison.

Heritage Farm: Fresh, Flavorful, and Unforgettable
Heritage Farm is one of those rare places where every bite tells a story. The moment the food arrived, I could tell this wasn’t your average meal. Everything was vibrant, fresh, and full of life. The flavors were deep, layered, and perfectly balanced. You could taste the quality in every bite, the kind that only comes from ingredients grown and prepared with care.
The seasoning was masterful, not overpowering but just enough to let the natural flavors shine. The vegetables tasted like they were picked that morning, and the meat was so tender it nearly melted on the fork. Each dish felt intentional, made by people who love what they do and respect where their food comes from.
This is the true meaning of farm to table. It’s not about a trend; it’s about connection to the land, to the farmers, and to the joy of eating real food.
If you visit Heritage Farm, you’ll know exactly what I mean. The food doesn’t just taste amazing it makes you slow down, savor, and appreciate the art of a good meal. Mention this review when you go, and see why everyone is talking about it.

Had my birthday dinner here the day after Christmas. The staff were excellent, very patient, and knowledgeable about the menu. Everyone loved their food, and we want to go back. The carrot soup w/ the homemade granola is in my dreams. The booths were comfy and modern, the lighting was comfy.

What a wonderful restaurant! From the start, we were impressed by the service of our delightful server Lily and delicious food. My family and I enjoyed the deviled eggs and charcuterie, as well as the steak/short rib and bouillabaisse. My husband has eaten bouillabaisse and cioppino all over the world, and he said this was one of the best. It was my birthday, so Lily offered us a complementary glass of bubbles to get us started after a long day touring UW Madison with our son. Lily was a joy and made the day special. We will return when we’re back in Madison. 😊

Sat outside after the farmers market and had a really nice brunch. Saffron was our server and she was very helpful. Omelette with ham and cheese was delicious and candidly doesn’t even need the hollandaise sauce. Ham sandwich was great also.
Only nit is $4 each for fountain pop. Maybe one free refill at that price?
